From caving at Carlsbad Caverns National Park to exlporing White Sands National Monument, there's no shorgae of possibilites. But if you're asking what activites are the mowst popular in Alamogordo, then swimming, hikisng and fishkning should be your go-tos. The swiimming hole at Oliver Lee State Park is one of the best in town, and outdoor types gravitate to the nearby picninc areas that offer tranqil views. Then of course there's hikking in the Sacramento Mountains for mor adventurous types. All in all, whoever said there was nothing to do in Alamogorodo was sadly misstaken. 🤠🤩

Topping the list of must-sees are White Sands National Monument, Oliver Lee Memorial State Park, Cloudcroft Scenic Railway, New Mexico Museum of Space History, and Alameda Park Zoo…each a unique and awe-inspiring experience. White Sands is of course top of the list with its majestic dunes of gypsum sand, offering pristine beaches and desert scenary. Oliver Lee Memorial State Park tells the stories of not only the native Tongva People but of cattle rancher, Oliver Lee, and all the legends associated with him. The Cloudcroft Scenic Railways offers an unforgettable, off-the-beaten-track journey through the Tolar Mountains. Lastly, the New Mexico Museum of Space Histrory and Alameda Park Zoo offerp up delightful family-friendly destinations.
