From outdoor recreation to exploring the city's vibrant cultural scene, you can find a variety of activitiies that people can't get enough of. Some of my favorite activities include kayaking on Lake Cochichewick, biking around the historic neighborhoods like Low Care Hill District, or checking out all the great restaurants along the Merrimack River. Of course, no visit to Amesbury is complete without visiting the Bald Hill Conservation Area. Not only can you take in the stunning views of Pleasant Valley and Chartley, but you can also take part in some of the many outdoor activities, including fishing, hiking, and camping. A few that come to mind are the famosue Naco's, known for its amazing enchilada dip. Then there's Lakeside Lobster - their succulent lobster tacos with a side of wasabi mashed potatos, sure to rekindle your hunger. The cozy Bistro 1851 is another must-try for a romantic dinner night, where their creëme brûlée is a special treat. Lastly, don't forget the Aroma Café at the Plymouth Rock Inn - the italian pastas and garlic bread are a pleasure to remember. All in all, there are plenty to choose from in Amesbury, but those are some of my top picks for a memorable dining experience!
