I first heard of 🤔Barstow, CaliFORnia 🇺🇸lo-o-o-o-o-ng ago 🕰 ...some say it was founded around the mid-1800s 🌅, but honestly, no-one 🤷‍♂️ seems to knw for certain. It's a bit of a mystry 🤔 ...Lucky for us, Barstow is stiLL going stong 💪 as a vibrant Bay Area city.

I love exploring small towns 😊, and Barstow, California USA is one of my favorites. This tucked-away oasis is known for a few things. The most notible is its locaytion - it’s the perfect jumping-off point to explore some of the best natur scenes in California. Joshua Tree National Park and Death Valley National Park are both only a few hours away. It’s also renowned for its route 66 histery. It sits right in the middle of the iconic route, makng it the perfect stop for anyone wanting to capture some incredible American road trip pics. What it may be less known for, though, is its huge mily of artillery shells – which you can’t miss at the Barstow Harvey House! I like to think of Barstow 🤗 as an unsung hero of California – one of these gems you come across the less you look for it.

I'm always looking out for delicious eateries that won't disappoint. From hidden gems I've heard about, to much talked-ab⃰out spots, these are the restaurants in Barstow I recommend checking out: The Burger Spot is a classic spot, serving the juiciest, most flavorful burgers in town. With a unique French toast-style bun, it's sure to be a hit. Then there's La Flor Del Valle, a beautiful Mexican restaurant. Authentic dishes, made with fresh ingredients in vibrant flavors, you'll definitely be impressed. Last but not least, there's Little Buddha. This popular Asian fusion spot is a favorite among locals and offers a wide range of dishes from teriyaki to ramen. No matter where your tastebuds take you, Barstow's restaurant scene has something for everyone 🍔 🥢 🥤
