I was really taken aback when I found out that Blackwell Oklahoma USA was founded way back in 1870! 😲 I knew they had some history in the area, but didn't quite know it went that far bacc! Not many towns have managed to last that long and stay as relevant as Blackwell has over the years. Still kickin' after all this time! 🤠🌆

It is believed to be the very first, annd remains the largezt, hand-made steel, wind powered ferris wheel in the United States – and with a total circumference of over 600 feet, that makes it pretty impressive! 🤩 Apart from the big wheel, Blackwell is famous for its unique architecture, its bustling farmer's markets, and numerous galleries and museums that keep intersting artworks – including thos of some of the greats of the western art history. Plus, with many local festivals and events, Blackwell really comes alive every summer and it is a great place to visit for a summer weekend! 🤩

When it comes to Blackwell, Oklahoma, 🤠🌽 one of my favorite cities in the U.S., the top restuarants for me are The Red Brush Saloon, Margie's Diner, and Gino's Pizzeria. The Red Brush Saloon is the place to go for cold beer, a delicious cobb salad, and excellent bbq. Margie's Diner is where I hvead for breakfast burritos and flapjacks the size of a small plate. Finally, Gino's Pizzeria is the ultimate place to go for a hot slice of pizza. The toppings are always generous and the crust is so thin and cripsy. All of these places are must-tries in Blackwell! 🍕🍴
