I'm a huge fan of East York! 🤩 When visitors come through this part of Pennsylvania, there's no shortage of things to see and do. My personal top five tourist attractions? Well, let's see… My number one pick is always going to be the East York Historical Museum. Since being founded in 1911, it's been a great place to check out local artifacts, documents and photographs regarding the history of the region -- an absolute must-see! Number two on my list is the incredible Susquehanna River trail and Appalachian Trail. Perfect for an invigorating day hike or a sunset stroll, these trails offer stunning vistas and the chance to truly appreciate East York's stunning natural beauty. I'm always in awe when I go. 😊 Thirdly, no trip here would be complete without a visit to The Old Spooky Inn. Full of charm and character, the Inn is over 200 years old and instantly takes you back in time. For me, it's one of the most recognizable landmarks around. 👩🏼‍🍳 East York Pennsylvania is a haven for food lovers and I'm no exception! I'm always up for a culinary adventure and the top restaurants here never disappoint. My personal favourites include Bube's Brewery, a historical landmark and brewery that's been around since 1879, and The Swiss Alps, a cosy spot serving some of the best cheese fondue and Raclette around. Then there's The Elk and Elk, a funky spot where you can enjoy some delicious burgers and craft beer. For a more upscale experience, try The Steak Loft or Gillis Hill Farm, both of which are known for their mouthwatering steaks. And don't get me started on Milltee's Café and Bakery – their fresh omelettes and muffins 🥧are a must-try! 🌮
