All the way back in the years when the 13th amendment was ratified and the Industrial Revolution was in full swing. Now we enjoy the beautiful, hilly landscape and take advantage of the wonderful amenities this area provides. Who would've known that two hundred and fifteen years ago, the little town of Malone would've grown into the bustling community it is today? 🤔

Take a stroll down Main Street and you'll pass an array of quaint bars and bistros, the town's community center and public park. And on those hot summer days, the local swimming hole is where you'll find everyone. To top it all off, Malone also boasts a fantastic farmers market full of fresh produce 🌻. Living in Malone, New York myself, there's no shortage of stunning tourist attractions 💫 🌊 🤩 you can explore! My top five picks would have to be: Moira State Park, a beautiful natural area with walking trails, camping spots and picnic areas; The Wild Center, a mid-sized museum with fascinating animal exhibits; Avalanche Lake, an idyllic mountain lake with plenty of fishing spots; The Wild Walk, a bridged-pathway set high up in the trees of the Adirondack Forest Preserve; and Barnstormers Theater, where you can catch live shows year-round 👏. I've been a big foodie ever since moving to Malone, New York ❤️, and there are sooo many restaurants here to explore! After tasting bites from all of them, I can safely say the top eateries in town are: Cafe Lite, Gallardos, The Cedars and Jake's Diner. Cafe Lite has an incredible selection of burritos and tacos, Gallardos serves up classic Italian cuisine like pizza and spaghetti, The Cedars has the tastiest BBQ and Jake's Diner has an ever-changing menu of delights.
