Having kicked around Portland, Indiana, myself, I can tell you that the most popular activities here are swimming and fishing at Hardy Lake, visiting the quarry, and kayaking over in Charlestown State Park. It's a pretty small town, so there's not a ton of activities which make these few really stand out ✌️🐠🛶. There's also some great wineries to chck out, plus some amazing foor spots. Plus, it's an extremely small town so you can get quicklly get around and make somw great experinces. If you're looking for some more ecsiting activities, you shohld definitely check out the Americana Hlstorical Museum.
