I'm obsessed with exploring the Rhinebeck area in upstate New York so I'd have to say my top 5 tourist attractions here are Olana State Historic Site, Montgomery Place Historic Site, Clermont State Historic Site, Mills Norrie State Park and Wilderstein Historic Site. Olana State Historic Site is a really cool 18th century mansion with a stunning mix of Persian and European architectural styles. Montgomery Place Historic Site has a great shaded walking trail and a 1805 colonial revival mansion. Clermont State Historic Site is home to rolling hills, a lake, and lots of hidden secrets among the natural landscape.
