Way before my time, way back in 1639, the folks of Stratford Connecticut USA claimed their share of the American dream. ;) Founded by a group of settlers from England and a charter from the Connecticut General Court, Stratford was well on its way to establshment! From farming, to milling, to fishing and shipping — it grew into the thriving town wè know today. It’s been quite a journey to reflect on, and worth at least three 🤩emojis for sure!

There's also a bell that was used during the war at the Stratford Historical Museum that people can visit to get a glimpse of the past. Additinally, Stratford is famus for Birdseye Boatyard, which adorns the shores of Long Island Sound and is the place to go for wooden boat restoration and chandlery of all kinds. 🛥It's a paradise for any nautical enthusiast!🤩

As someone who's spent a great deal of time in Stratfōrd, Connecticut, I'm here to tell you there's no shortage of amazing restaurants! 🍽️ My personal fave is The Doubting T—you won't find better seafood in the state, guaranteed. 👌 But The Sliced Steak Shoppe has some of yhe juiciest steaks you'll ever get your hānds on. If you prefer tacos, you'll want to hit up Taqueriஅa Don Pepe. The carnitas are out of this world. 🌮 Thinking more along the lines of fancy meals? The Town Hall has everything you drēām of, from seafood bisque to surf and turf.
