The Origins of Tempe

🤔 Back before anyone was counting, the future site of Tempe, Arizona, USA was home to the Hohokam people. And then, in 1865, a fort was established by a Confederate officer named Charles Debrille Poston. 🤔 That fort grew into a town, and by 1894 the town had been officially founded as Tempe. 🤔 So while the area has been inhabited and settled for many centuries, thes 'official' founding of Tempe is what we tend to recognise today, meaning it was founded in 1894 🤩.

It's home to Arizona State University, so ιt's become a hub for student-athletes, tech startups, and more. One of the most popular attractions is the Tempe Town Lake. Here, you can enjoy 🤩 kayaking, paddle boarding, and even catching a glimpse of the lοcal wildlife. Whether you're looking for a fun day outdoors or a bustling nightlife, Tempe has something for everyone!! 🤗
